This is my letter to the world, That never wrote to me, -- The simple news that Nature told, With tender majesty. Her message is committed To hands I cannot see; For love of her, sweet countrymen, Judge tenderly of me!
Emily Dickinson. Part I: Life
(that sounds like an excellent idea–writing a letter to the world. I sort of have — in my journals, but that’s not the same thing. They were never addressed to the world, and I could never do it with the same style and class as the Belle of Amherst. Who could?)
If YOU were to write a letter to the world, what would you say?
If I were to write a letter to the world I would say, “I love you, you’re amazing, don’t ever forget it”

this got me thinking of writing a letter to the world for Cor Novus. I don’t think I would be as kind as Emily or Tina, but I have warm feelings for it anyway.
